Flexera Named a Bay Area News Group 2018 Top Workplace
Silicon Valley employees recognize Flexera’s dynamic workplace culture two years in a row
Itasca, IL - June 28, 2018 Flexera, the company that’s reimagining how software is bought, sold, managed and secured, today announced it has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by The Bay Area News Group, which includes the Mercury News and East Bay Times. This is the second year in a row Flexera’s Silicon Valley employees have recognized the company’s dynamic workplace culture.
The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture – including alignment, execution and connection, just to name a few. The Top Workplace list is based solely on an employee feedback survey administered by Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.
“We’ve created a culture that attracts the best and the brightest. It’s a great honor when two years running, employees rate Flexera as one of the best places to work in Silicon Valley,” said Jim Ryan, President and Chief Executive Officer at Flexera. “I recognize that it’s a great job market and employees have a lot of choices. I’m proud they continue to choose Flexera.”
Flexera’s created a strong workplace built on key values – including Accountability, Professionalism, Transparency and Innovation. Flexera strongly celebrates and promotes the success of its employees in their personal and professional lives, and actively works to better communities where employees live and work through ongoing charity efforts. Flexera’s a blend of over 1,200 people around the world, who’ve joined the team from a variety of backgrounds from large, global companies to small startups. Together, Flexera forms a unique collection of talents, experiences and products – all working towards a common goal of repairing the dysfunctional software supply chain.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition. Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement. Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy. It’s an achievement organizations have worked for, and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
Flexera’s always looking for passionate people to join their team. Read more about Flexera’s global offices and workplace culture, and browse current openings in Careers.
